My Child is SICK- We need Urgent Care

Being sick sucks!  Having a sick child sucks even more.  As a mom, I just want to take all the pain away but of course, I can’t!  Getting my child out of bed, get them dressed, drive to the doctor’s office, deal with traffic, find parking, then make sure my child is okay while we are waiting in an office with other sick people is not on my top list of things I want to do!

Our Appointment

Our Doctor Christina Chen wanted to know Sahara’s symptoms, her temperature, what she ate that day and from that, she decided we were dealing with the stomach bug/flu. So a lot of fluids was recommended to help with hydration. Soup, water, tea were examples she suggested. No medicine was needed to prescribe and if symptoms got worse to go right to ER. After a day my daughter was up and no more puking!  I knew she would be okay, but I just wanted a doctor to help me with this process. As a mom, it’s my job to make sure I do everything possible to ensure my kids are healthy.  Being able to do all this online was fantastic and helped with stress and of course TIME!
